The campus from above: the rooftop gardens are easy to spot.

With approximately 83,000 square meters of floor space and an investment of 162 million euros, the Bosch Innovation Campus Budapest really stands out from its
surroundings: the cluster of newly constructed buildings is the largest project completed during the reporting period. It is a center for innovation and technology
that provides 1,800 jobs. The modern complex houses various business divisions and functions – it comprises office buildings, research and development facilities, social spaces, a parking garage, and a vehicle testing track.

Numerous trees were planted in the courtyard.

The ground floor is home to laboratories, test benches, and a workshop, while the five-story office buildings above are spaces for cooperation and exchanging ideas. Associates’ ideas and suggestions were incorporated into the planning process: some of the highlights include a 500-seat auditorium, rooftop gardens, and a hangar for chassis dynamometers. In the restaurant, chefs cook in full view of the diners; the space can also be used for hosting events. A park, the restaurant patio, and a lake create a pleasant atmosphere in the interior courtyard of the complex. The outdoor facilities and the rooftop spaces offer associates a place to work, exercise, or relax. These facilities are complemented by a parking garage with a generous number of parking spaces, as well as an energy supply center. The new buildings are connected to the existing ones by a 120-meter-long bridge.

One of the highlights
is the 500-seat auditorium – and opening the wall to the foyer expands its capacity even further.

The campus is an expansion of the Engineering Center Budapest, which plays an important role in the development of automated and electric vehicle technology. The site is one of the leading research, development, and testing facilities for automotive technology within the Bosch Group. Its location within the 10th district of Hungary’s
capital city is exceptionally convenient, providing good transportation links and easy access to the country’s largest airport.
