Vodcast
THE WORLD ON YOUR SCREEN
An environmental manager in Brazil, a clay brick maker in Morocco, and a mental health expert in Australia have at least two things in common. First: They all work for Bosch Global Real Estate And second: They were all guests on the vodcast hosted by their colleague, Ulrike Vieregge: “Grid – the Network.”
The vodcast format is a combination of a podcast and a video, and the focus of this vodcast is facility management. However, the discussion often strays into other interesting directions. “From hydrogen in Bamberg to sightseeing in Dubai, we’ve covered it all,” says Ulrike Vieregge with a laugh. “It’s always exciting to hear the stories our colleagues have to tell!” When the 56-year-old prepares to record the vodcast once a month, she always looks forward to delving into a new facet of our company.
Ulrike Vieregge sources guests for her vodcast from around the world. And her options are an embarrassment of riches: She is responsible for Change Management at GR, so she has an entire global network of Change Agents at her disposal. Many of them know the Vienna resident from development projects and conferences. “With this vodcast, we’re showing just how many different cultures and characters come together in our workforce,” she says. “We highlight the people and stories behind the big issues, and we raise their visibility.” The goal is for associates to get to know the people and methodologies at other sites and to draw inspiration from one another. “Grid – the Network” is subtitled in nine languages to ensure that as many people as possible benefit from the interviews. Each vodcast episode is just under 15 minutes long. The lasting impression that the vodcast leaves is that we have colleagues around the globe who are working hard to make GR a success, and that we can always learn from one another.
